HAZE Festival

HAZE Festival

Type for Masters

Project Information

In Justin Colt’s Type for Masters course this year, one group was tasked with reimagining a music festival and integrating their design in all aspects of the event.
HAZE is an outdoor literary festival that features sci-fi and dystopian literature. Visitors are welcome to participate in guest panel talks, movie viewings, book signing events, and vendor fairs by renowned publishers. It will take place in Burgess Park, London, a city with a long literary tradition and a strong sci-fi fan base.
Drawing inspiration from the swirling colors of psychedelic art, the festival’s visual identity captures the mesmerizing texture of the human iris—abstract and geometrical.
