Project Description

Project Description

Seajelly is a virtual space that uses augmented reality technology to superimpose a gallery on a selected physical environment.

Two smartphones are displayed against a bright blue background. The phone on the left shows a “RED EVIL” screen with a stylized figure in a red outfit and a blue sky. The phone on the right displays “TOF SHOW AROUND YOU” with a colorful abstract graphic and text indicating the date and time: April 21, 2024, and April 24, 2024. Both phones have white bezels and display various app icons.

A computer screen displays a website for Seejeby, a virtual space that uses AR technology to combine virtual and real-world elements. The website features a cityscape image with a golden statue against a sunset sky. The text “Bringing art to the real world with AR” appears prominently on the page. Navigation links for “About,” “Explore,” “People,” and “Contact” are visible at the top. The background is blue, and the screen is mounted on a silver stand.

The image shows a park scene under a mostly clear blue sky with some white clouds. A large, red, abstract sculpture of a human figure dominates the center of the frame. The sculpture is surrounded by bare trees, giving the impression of a winter or early spring season. In the background, a white building with columns is visible, along with other structures including a section of a road or pathway. The ground in the park is mostly bare, with patches of dry grass and some bare earth. A dark-colored trash can or receptacle is visible near the bottom right. The photo is taken from a slightly elevated angle, offering a view of the park and its features.

Five dark screenshots showcase different user experiences: “MAP NAVIGATION,” “AR EXPERIENCE,” “COLLECTIONS,” “ART COMMUNITY,” and “JOIN US.” Each displays a stylized cloud icon with a directional arrow, progressing from left to right. Text below each screenshot describes an interactive experience: “Show you directions and uses real-time traffic information to find the best route to your destination.” “Interactive experience that combines the real world and computer-generated content.” “Collecting artworks through our partner OpenSea. Online tokens to make the process fast and secure.” “Art community to share and show information with each other. Like social media platform but only for art community.”

A smartphone displays a lock screen showing the time 07:20 on Friday, April 21. The screen also shows a notification from Seajelly: “New Shows Alert! Get ready to explore something new with Seajelly.”

Four smartphones are displayed against a bright blue background. The central phone shows the SeaJelly logo and a blue sky icon. The phone to the left displays “MY COLLECTIONS” with thumbnails of images. The phone to the right shows “RED EVIL” with a landscape image. The phone on the far right shows “HOME SHOW” with a landscape image. All phones display the SeaJelly app interface.

A dark map of New York City shows several light blue dots scattered across the grid of streets and waterways. The dots vary in size and are distributed across the map. A body of water is visible in the upper left portion of the map.

A tall, rectangular skyscraper with a gold-colored sculpture on top stands prominently against a vibrant sunset sky. The sky transitions from deep blue at the top to warm orange and pink hues near the horizon. The building’s facade features numerous windows, and its silhouette is visible against the colorful backdrop. In the foreground, a mix of residential buildings with varied roof colors and heights can be seen, extending into the distance.

A hand holds a smartphone displaying a colorful, abstract image with swirling patterns in shades of green, red, blue, and purple. The screen shows a digital clock reading "00:00:00." The background features a graffiti-covered wall with vertical poles and various posters.
