Project Description

Project Description

POLLEN is an editorial platform that highlights the emerging art, creativity, and culture in Chinese and Chinese-American communities.

A laptop screen displays the website for Pollen, a Chinese artist. The website features a banner at the top reading “POLLEN” in white text on a black background. Below this, a navigation bar includes links for “ABOUT,” “INDEX,” and “EN/IN,” with Chinese characters next to each. A central section showcases a collage of colorful food illustrations arranged on a white background. Below the collage, the text “Shape Of Appetite” is displayed, followed by the artist’s name, “Teng Han And Xieqeng Zhou,” and the website’s name, “MacBook Pro.” The laptop is positioned against a white background.

A MacBook Pro laptop displays a website titled “POLLEN” in white text at the top. Below it, a navigation bar includes “ABOUT,” “INDEX,” and “EN” tabs. Beneath the navigation bar, the site features “SHARE,” “LEARN AND BLOOM,” and “绘成” sections. The lower part of the screen shows two yellow bars labeled “ART” and “CULTURE,” respectively. The background is white, and the laptop is centered against a plain white background.

Three smartphones display different content. On the left, a screenshot shows “OUR LIFETIME” by Wu Wei, with text about relationships and food. The center phone displays “READ WATCH LISTEN SHOP” vertically, with “ABOUT” at the bottom. The right phone shows “POLLEN” with “LISTEN” below it, with “DISCIPLINES” above and “MEDIA” below.

Three smartphones display the Pollen app interface. The leftmost phone shows a photo of five women holding flowers. The center phone displays a description of the app’s design, highlighting its focus on community and gentrification. The rightmost phone showcases the app’s interface with product images and pricing details.
