Project Description

Project Description

PER is a multimedia publication that curates content from diverse interdisciplinary voices.

A laptop screen displays a webpage titled “THE ART OF MEDITATIVE SPACES” with the date July 9, 2023, and author Rae Erleken. The page includes sections for “ARTICLE, AUDIO,” and “MEDITATION SPACES,” listing features such as wood-lined rooms, meditation spaces, glass walls, and natural light. Below the page are navigation options including “PER SEARCH,” “PER ISSUES,” and “ABOUT US.” Three smaller images show interior scenes: a dark room with wood paneling, a wooden table with bottles, and a lit window in a dark room.

A book titled “interdisciplinary knowledge” lies open on a dark green surface. The cover features a hand holding a white circular object with concentric circles inside, and the word “PER.” appears in purple at the top left. The subtitle “AT YOUR FINGERTIPS” appears in white at the bottom right. The background includes green foliage.

A black MacBook Pro laptop is open on a light gray speckled surface. The screen displays a circular design composed of small images and text, including the words “WELCOME TO FEB—” and “new year, new life, new beginnings.” A smartphone is partially visible in the lower left corner. The laptop’s keyboard and trackpad are dark gray or black.

The image shows two smartphones displaying the PER app. The left phone shows the app’s home screen, featuring a header with the app’s name “PER,” a subtitle “Hi LUIS—here’s your weekly curation,” a section titled “the topics” with subsections “environment & sociology,” and a photo of a couple standing near a waterfall. The right phone displays a grid of app icons, including “diversity,” “visuArts,” “mathematics,” “photography,” “design,” “education,” and “archive,” along with a profile picture, follower count (1,310), and a “Editor Profile” button. The bottom of the screen shows navigation icons.

The image features four circular profile pictures arranged in a square formation against a light gray background. Centered between the portraits is the text "Interdisciplinarity is not a luxury, it’s a necessity," written in a black sans-serif font. The text is color-balanced, with "not a luxury" appearing in blue and "it’s a necessity" in orange.

The image displays a grid of six vertical rectangular images arranged in two rows and three columns. Each image showcases a different individual engaged in a distinct activity. The top row features a person in a red and blue plaid jacket hiking on a rocky terrain, a person in a yellow shirt sitting at a picnic table, and a person in a green jacket standing near a stream. The bottom row shows a person in a blue jacket hiking on a snowy mountain, a person in a pink shirt lying on dried leaves, and a person in a dark green jacket standing near water. Each image is accompanied by a label below it identifying the subject’s name and associated location or activity.

Two Apple MacBooks are displayed side-by-side against a black background. The left laptop shows a circular design with icons surrounding a central image. The right laptop displays a grid of circular icons with labels beneath them, including “archaeology,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “archaeology,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “art & design,” “animation,” “architecture,” “ar

A laptop screen displays a website with a minimalist design. The top navigation bar includes tabs for "back," "architecture," "psychology," "PERSONAL," "PER SEARCH," "PER ISSUES," and "ABOUT US." Below, a featured piece showcases a wooden structure on a platform over water. The page also displays a grid of images: "The ART OF MEDITATIVE SPACES," "The IMPORTANCE OF AN OUTDOOR OASIS," "EXPLORING MODERN MOOD," "The RISE OF TINEST HOMES," and "DRAPERY AND DREAMS." At the bottom, the text "Explore Interdisciplinary Content" is displayed.

A laptop screen displays a personalized journey map. The central node is labeled “ARCHITECTURE,” surrounded by smaller circles representing various disciplines including “art & design,” “biology,” “environmental science,” “archaeology,” “health & wellness,” “geography,” “mathematics,” “chemistry,” “astronomy,” “international relations,” “performing arts,” and “philosophy.” A profile picture shows Flor Scaro, with location details including “Brooklyn, New York” and “joined January 2023.” The map interface includes tabs for “PER SEARCH,” “PER ISSUES,” and “ABOUT US,” along with a “BACK TO TOP” button. The text “Personalize Your Journey” appears below the laptop.
