Project Description

Project Description

Dusty is a children’s book that helps our younger generation get in the habit of cleaning and a lifestyle system for parents and kids.

A hand holds a dark gray plush toy with blue fringe and a face with green eyes and a smiling mouth. Beside it, a teal plush toy with eyes and a smiling face is partially visible. A yellow plush star-shaped toy with facial features is positioned near the teal plush. The background is plain white. Text in the top left corner reads “Dusty and his friends are functional, adorable cleaning helpers for children to engage and have fun with!”

Four children stand against a white wall, each wearing yellow socks with fuzzy tops. The child on the far left wears a pink long-sleeved shirt and gray pants. The child next to them wears an orange short-sleeved shirt and yellow pants. The third child wears a white short-sleeved shirt and brown pants. The child on the far right wears a white short-sleeved shirt with a yellow floral pattern and light-colored pants. A gray cartoon character with green eyes sits on the green carpet near the wall. The words “Duster Socks!” appear in yellow letters in the top left corner.

A book page displays a cartoon character with green eyes and a surprised expression, sitting at a table with a cup and box. The background is light blue with diagonal light beams. Text on the left reads “He made a giant mess!” and below it, “A lot of thoughts came to his mind. Should I wake up granny for help? But what if she gets angry about the mess I made while she was asleep?” The page is open and angled slightly.

The image shows a children's activity set designed to help kids learn about cleaning up dusty surfaces. The set includes a colorful book titled "Dusty Cleans up," featuring cartoon characters and text about cleaning up dusty friends. The book cover shows a gray monster holding a yellow star and surrounded by other characters. Beside the book are three activity sheets: one with a blank space for writing, another with a checklist of dusty tasks, and a third with a space for drawing or writing. The sheets are illustrated with cartoon characters and objects. The background is a light blue color, and the sheets are arranged slightly overlapping each other. A black marker pen is also visible near the sheets.

Two book covers are displayed side by side. The left cover features a gray cat with green eyes lying on a multicolored striped background. The title “DUSTY gets tangled” appears in blue letters. The right cover shows a group of colorful cartoon characters with varying eye colors and expressions. The title “DUSTY DUST!” appears in blue letters. The bottom right corner includes text: “Written/Illustrated by Sue Kim”.

The image shows two printed sheets side by side. The left sheet is titled “Today, like Frank I will clean up…” and features a cartoon octopus with blocks and text. The right sheet is titled “Let’s clean up like Frank!” and shows a cartoon elephant with blocks and text. Both sheets include instructions for cleaning up messes, with phrases like “Pick up our things” and “Pick up our things and place neat and tidy!” The sheets are labeled “Date: 2/9/12” and “Date: 2/9/12”, respectively. The right sheet also includes the words “Blocks,” “Socks,” and “Markers” at the bottom.

A woman and a child stand in a kitchen. The woman, wearing a white shirt and a black and white checkered apron, holds a white cloth and points toward a stainless steel refrigerator. The child, wearing a gray shirt and black pants, stands barefoot nearby. A poster on the wall behind the woman reads “Dusty Clean!” and features a cartoon gray teddy bear holding a dustpan and brush. The kitchen has wooden cabinets and a stainless steel refrigerator. A countertop is visible in the background.
