Project Description

Project Description

Brailly is a physical tool for the previously sighted to learn basic Braille. It helps communication between loved ones and non-sighted people. With the help of Brailly and the education community we build, the visually impaired will be able to use Braille in everyday communication. They will be free to enjoy intellectual freedom, personal security, independence and have equal opportunities to study and work.

A Brailly keyboard with brown keys and black lettering rests on a light brown wooden surface. A smartphone displaying the Brailly app interface is positioned near the keyboard. A white sheet with the Brailly logo is partially visible beneath the keyboard. A sheet labeled “6 MONTHS” and a Braille primer curriculum sheet are also present on the surface. The scene is illuminated by natural daylight.A hand presses a finger against a light brown wooden board with the word "HELLO" in white letters. The background is gray. Text at the top reads "Brailly" and "Every dot helps." Below, smaller text reads: "Brailly is a physical tool helping the previously sighted learn Braille and become more independent." Social media icons (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) are displayed at the bottom.A screenshot displays a grid of design elements in Apple Xcode, organized into four columns labeled XS-4 through XS-10. The left column includes XS-4 through XS-10, XS-10-X, and XS-10-XS-10. The right column shows XS-4 through XS-10, XS-10-XS-10, and XS-10-XS-10-XS-10. Each row contains various design components such as text, icons, buttons, and graphics in shades of gray, black, and white. The top left corner displays a row of small colored circles. The top right shows “RESPONSIVE RESEARCH” and “APPLE” in the top right corner. The bottom right shows “APPEARANCE” in the bottom right corner.A hand is positioned over a black surface covered with white letter tiles arranged in rows. The tiles spell out “BAL”, “E”, “N”, “O”, “R”, and “T”. The hand’s index finger rests on the “L” tile. Two people are seated at a black table. The person on the left wears a maroon sweater and touches a white tablet displaying a grid of squares. The person on the right wears a black top and has dark hair. A silver toaster and a white sheet of paper are on the table between them. The background is a plain white wall.
