Project Description

Project Description

Amblers transforms everyday walks into opportunities for rejuvenation and delight. Through a suite of products and services, we infuse the simple act of walking with presence and play to create unexpected and refreshing experiences on foot. In a world of constant demands on our attention and time, it’s increasingly difficult — and increasingly important — that we take control of our lives and our minds. Amblers proposes that the moments we spend outdoors walking are opportune for exercising this control, and for turning our attentions to the real, present, and raw world around us.

Three cards are displayed on a white background. Each card has a dark blue top section and a light brown bottom section. The text on each card reads: “Walk toward the equator,” “Walk in the least likely direction,” and “Peer into open windows.” The cards are arranged in a row.A white iPhone displays the time 11:00 on Monday, April 3. The screen shows a message: “Good morning, Ambler! Along your walks today, look for things that are past their prime. Slide for more.” Below the screen are three smaller images: a weathered stone building, an urban street scene, and a small bird on the ground.A conversation between two people is shown in a circular frame. The person on the left asks, “On your Ambles today, use your hands and feet to disrupt things that are in motion.” The person on the right responds, “Walk slower than anyone else on the sidewalk today. How does it feel? What do you notice?” The person on the left replies, “Identify groups of identical objects while walking today. Find small details that differentiate them.”A woman with dark brown hair pulled back is centered against a solid black background. She is looking directly at the camera with a neutral expression. Her shoulders and upper chest are visible, and she wears a dark-colored top. The lighting is focused on her face, leaving the rest of the image dark and undefined.
