It is mid-October, which means the leaves are turning color, the temperature is dipping lower and the MFAD students are invited on Thursday afternoon for the annual Fall visit to Louise Fili's studio, her veritable typography heaven. Among the treats, she will share her food packaging and restaurant design and introduce MFADers to the new type foundry Tipofili, which produces typefaces influenced by French and Italian type created during the early 20th century.
