For Stefan Sagmeister's final "Touch Someone's Heart" class first year MFA Design students created a variety of projects on the theme of "What I Learned in My Life, So Far." Over the next few days we will survey some of them.
Samia Kallidis chose to portray the sentence "Passion transforms ordinary into extraordinary."

"Using handmade techniques, an ordinary object can be transformed into various forms and become beautiful. Paper is embossed, die cut and carefully constructed as each word evolves and the paper transforms as the video progresses to create a final scene, conveying the meaning of the sentence."
