This year's The Christopher E. and Deborah J. Buck Award for MFA Design student advancement is divided into two parts:
Part 1. Funding (airfare, hotel and conference fee) for one first-year and one second-year student to the Interaction12 Conference in Dublin.
Part 2. $15,000 award to eligible graduating students to aid in the further development of their thesis projects.
The first recipients were announced today:

Lizzy Showman '13
They will be joined at the conference by faculty member Andy Pratt and Director of MFAD Operations Esther Ro-Schofield.
