The second SVA / BBC Design Documentary Film Festival at the SVA Theatre (sponsored in part by MFAD and its sister MFA Design programs) opens the curtains for a day-long event on Sunday, March 17 from 11:00 - 6:30 (see schedule below).
Co-curated by MFAD co-chair Steven Heller and SVA faculty member Adam Harrison Levy, this 2013 edition features design as a cultural provocateur in films about David Bowie (designing his persona) and the Chelsea Hotel.
On hand this year is Alan Yentob the producer and / or director of the films on view.
