Student Spotlight: Weiyun Chen

Meet Weiyun Chen, one of our MFAD Class of 2023 students.
Hometown: Taipei, Taiwan
Weiyun is a graphic designer based in Brooklyn, NY. She is interested in exhibition design, brand identity, editorial design, and in general how design and life can complement and collaborate with each other. She wants to bring the passion for converting ideas and sense of human feeling into visual language.

**Featured Work:
**In Taiwan, an amulet (an object believed to confer protection upon its possessor) is a blessing granted to the younger generation by the older generation. Lucky Amulet Zine is based on the idea of giving blessings to people you love and care about. Each amulet represents different functions such as health, wealth or love, etc. Each one has its unique pattern combined with either found object's from Chinatown or traditional customs.
