Hi, I’m Margaret Sun from NYC, currently pursuing a MFA in Design at the School of Visual Arts.
“The Wings Project” is a movie ticket collection designed and painted based on short films from the band BTS’ album, “Wings.” Each ticket references the members’ solo tracks. Paintings and textures draw from Hermann Hesse’s 1919 bildungsroman, “Demian” to represent contemporary struggles with identity, growth, loss, and loneliness. Tickets can be paired and arranged to reflect how each BTS member relates to the others across the seven films.
