Project Description: Blurring Track is a project inspired by the growing crisis of space debris. In early 2009, the collision between Iridium 33 and Cosmos 2251 in low Earth orbit created thousands of fragments that continue to circle the Earth at high speeds, threatening spacecraft and satellites. Taking this event as its starting point, the project explores the escalating problem of orbital pollution and its implications for humanity’s future in space. Through a website and a physical installation, Blurring Track visualizes the invisible danger of space debris and invites reflection on human responsibility in shaping the orbital environment.
