Meet Ali Blake, one of our MFAD Class of 2023 students.
Hometown: Oakland, CA, United States
Ali has been working in web design and user experience as a visual designer for the last 5 years. She has a BFA from California College of Art and has made large-scale charcoal illustrations for most of her life. Her goal is to bring her experience in business acumen, leadership and illustration to her work as a designer.

**A Redesign concept for an iconic NYC Hotel to reflect its colorful history. Refinery Hotel has a rich history, but the brand doesn’t emulate the vibrant roots in fashion and trailblazing feminism. These are traditions that customers today can still relate to and should be emphasized in order to draw in their millennial customers and the shopping epicenter of the garment district.
