Lauren Wolff (MFAD 11) has just been named part of Weiden + Kennedy’s new incubator program PIE for startups in Portland, OR. for her company spotsi., a platform (mobile and web) and marketplace for freeform multimedia tours which feature original content and unique perspectives. A tour is any threaded collection of spots, and a spot can be almost anything: a painting, a boutique, an ocean. spotsi empowers people and businesses to share knowledge and monetize their untapped expertise.
She moved to Portland a few weeks ago and it was announced on Wednesday on Fast Co.
"It is all happening very fast, but very exciting, as we are planning on brand partnering with Target, Coke and possibly Nike on various projects."
The company is comprised of programmer Anthony Carroll and Wolff (CEO and Creative Director).
