Following Mauro Zenaro's talk on the origins of Latin letters we walked to the Museo dell'*Ara Pacis *for a creative dose of waxing and rubbing the words and letters inscribed on the tomb of Augustus. The walking tour continued to the Piazza Augusto Imperatore to see the Mussolini inscriptions across the street from the Tomb of Augusto, which the DUX wanted to demolish back in the 1930s.
