After a rousing intro from Professore Carlo Martino of La Sapienza University, Louise Fili gave her visually luscious lecture on "food, type and all things Italian," in Italian. What a treat. The Italian students, happy not to endure a contiguous translation, ate every bit of her word feast. A copy of Grafica dela Strada was raffled to a happy, unsuspecting recipient.
