Robert Wong, Chief Creative Officer for Google, is an inspiration. On Thursday, September 22 he leads off this Fall's Milton Glaser Lecture Series at his offices at Google, NYC. Without a doubt he will inspire our MFA Design students, like they've never been inspired before.
Among things they'll learn is that his portfolio, in addition to his incredible waves of creative explorations at Google, includes chief positions at Starbucks, Apple, and MTV, among others. At the Google Creative Lab he leads a small team of experimenters who help communicate the magic of Google products and the spirit of the people who make them. His work has won nearly every industry award and is represented in the permanent collections of the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum and the Museum of Modern Art. The students will see why.
