Life has been pretty exciting for Gustavo Garcia (MFAD '09): A few months ago he decided to quit his job at an ad agency to open his design studio, Papanapa.

On Friday April 8, "without any party or alarm Papanapa's website went live," he says.

What does Papanapa mean? "Well, it's an homage to my grandfather (my mom's dad who was an incredible man and an unbelievably talented person). So Papa stands for "dad" and Napa for 'big nose' (just like mine, haha)."
