The sun beat hard on the heads of the trekkers on Tuesday as Dr. Darius Arya revealed the majesty of Ostia Antiqua, the ruins of the massive harbor city of ancient Rome*. *Inscriptions were bountiful and rubbing wax was in the air (before a flash rainstorm drenched the group).
