"Judging from the work produced last fall in Allan Chochinov’s Design in Three Dimensions class at New York’s School of Visual Arts, the answer is a supple way to approach social problems in a wide spectrum of sizes, types and locales.

"Chochinov’s class began by studying SELCO, a Rockefeller Foundation–funded case study on design and social enterprise that was produced for the Yale School of Management with the assistance of Winterhouse Institute."
