Each year at the start of the first semester we ask our new students to say a few words about one or more favorite projects.

My friend invited me go to a festival in Joshua Tree where there are many cacti growing. I was not able to come to the festival so I wanted to make a poster instead. I wanted my colors to evoke the feeling of being in a desert at night. The feeling can be nostalgic, happy or lonely, etc.. In contrast to the choice of illustration and colors, I wanted the rest to be clean and easy to read. I put all the musicians in same size because I think they are equally important.
