Each year at the start of the first semester we ask our new students to say a few words about one or more favorite projects.

**Since I was 16, I have eaten at Durango’s Mexican Grill at least once a week while living in St.George, Utah. Durangos is definitely my favorite place to eat in my hometown. In 2015, the restaurant went under renovation and I was asked to help with branding. Larger food chains, like Chipotle, were moving into the area and the owners felt that rebranding was crucial to stay relevant in the community. This project will always have a special place in my heart for three reasons:

1. Free burritos 
2. It was my first branding project that I loved the product I was designing for.
