"Over the summer I interned at Kyle Cooper's Prologue Films in Venice, CA.," says In-Hee Bae. "This main title uses gang-related newspaper articles to reveal the characters of 'Lost Angels' and their social impact on 1940s and 50s Los Angeles. The photographs highlight the polarity of great success and failure in a city shrouded in glamourous wares that often disguised its dark underworld."
