MFAD faculty member Maira Kalman held her own on the October 28 episode of The Colbert Report on Comedy Central. Kalman spoke about her new book, "And The Pursuit of Happiness" (Penguin Press, 2010), which collects illustrated essays she made for The New York Times OpEd online column, exploring aspects of American democracy from across the country.
