MFAD co-chair Steven Heller spoke about "The Design Entrepreneur" this past weekend at the Ringling School of Art "2010 Design Summit on Design and Business." He also introduced Alex Steinweiss (93), the first designer to create original 78rpm record cover art in the late 1930s. The event was to launch Taschen Books' just released mammoth tome: "Alex Steinweiss: Inventor of the Modern Album Cover" by Kevin Reagan and foreword by Heller.
