MFAD cochair, Steve Heller, can check this off his bucket list. Last week he was awarded an honorary doctoral degree for his work as an advocate of Ladislav Sutnar, at the University of West Bohemia, Pilzen, Czech Republic, which includes the Ladislav Faculty of Design and Art. Pilzen was Sutnar's birthplace. The award coincided with Sutnar's ashes returning after 75 years of Communist banishment.
