Co-chair Steven Heller, recipient of the Smithsonian Institution's National Design Award for "Design Mind" attended the White House luncheon hosted by Michelle Obama. Along with fellow NDA winners, including Lifetime Achievement winner Matthew Carter (below), he took part in the second annual Smithsonian Teen Design Fair, hosted by Tim Gunn.
