Today's guest speaker, Scott Stowell, is a former MFAD faculty member and the founder in 1998 of Open, a Manhattan-based design studio that created identities for Bravo TV, New York Public Radio as well as campaigns for Google's Nonprofits, Patagonia and Uni Qlo.
Before starting Open, Stowell was art director of Benetton's Colors magazine and a senior designer at M&Co. He is the recipient of 2008 Smithsonian National Design Award for Communication Design.
