SVA's Chair for BFA Graphic Design and advertising, and former MFAD faculty member, Gail Anderson, received the 2019 National Design Award for Lifetime achievement. And her list of Achievements in credible, from early days as an SVA student, to associate and deputy art directors at Rolling Stone, She's done advertising, poster, book and identity design. Today she is the co-author of fifteen books and serves on the Citizen's postage stamp committee.
Currently she is developing the identity for SVA's 75th Anniversary.
