Melissa Gorman (MFAD '12) announces the opening of her thesis project, The Brooklyn Sandwich Society.
"I wanted to share with you that BKSS has finally opened its doors," she announced in an email. "We are in our second week, and so far it's been well received. Right now we're open for dinner, and serving sandwiches and small dishes. Soon we'll add brunch and then lunch. It's exhausting and exhilarating at the same time, but I'm learning so much every day and it's amazing how much the program prepared me to jump into this business in ways I couldn't have predicted."
