Born and raised in Mumbai, India, I studied visual communication at Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology in Bangalore. After graduation I entered the world of advertising at Battle Bogle Hegarty in Mumbai.
Illustrating and writing books is what makes me really happy, and my favorite project yet has been an illustrated novella, also written by me called Manismriti. This book is a fictional enquiry into the basic plot of Hindu mythological stories. Conceptualized as a prologue to Vedic History, it explores the discovery of women’s fertility. Hence giving rise to insecurity by the opposite gender, which has cumulated into the strong patriarchal societal structure today.
