This is a book cover redesign project that I did in Gael Towey and Stephen Doyle's class Telling Stories. As the mobiles and screens dominate my life for many years, it turns out that textbooks are the books I read the most for my entire life. When the task came that we were supposed to choose a book to redesign its cover, it came to my mind immediately that I wanted to redesign for textbooks - most of them on the market are not curated and look unattractive. I chose 4 science subjects that are the requirements in Chinese high school education system - algebra, physics, chemistry and biology, tried to unveil the beauty of science by typography and grid system.
