This is for **"**Writing and Designing the Visual Book" taught by Warren Lehrer.

My final project for Warren’s class was a french-door book titled 1974-1976: The Early Days of Punk. We learned about french-door binding in class, and that’s what inspired me to make it. The format seemed perfect to tell the story of Punk’s birth, since it happened almost simultaneously in New York and London.

It’s my favorite project to date because through it I learned about many things I love — editorial design, bookmaking, New York, and Punk.
