Our soon-to-graduate class of 2024 had the great pleasure of welcoming four remarkable MFAD alumni to a panel about getting a solid start for life after graduation, and we also left with wise advice for delivering our upcoming thesis presentations (and masterfully getting through our last few weeks of the program!). Sitting on the panel were Krista Anna Lewis (MFAD 21) who currently works as a brand designer at Glossier; Alex Mooney (MFAD 23), currently working at Cohan Design, the new design studio of esteemed alumni and faculty member Tim Cohan; Inês Ayer (MFAD 23), Senior Designer at Pentagram; and Vidhi Patel (MFAD 23), working in the non-profit sector. Learning about how much their theses prepared them to kickstart their career was something we didn’t realize we needed to hear—because when you’re in the thick of it, you can really forget about the value of what you’re doing.
Before getting back to their busy careers, the alumni caught up with Co-Chairs Steven Heller and Lita Talarico over lunch at a local restaurant.
