The magnet for our recent alumni meetup in Austin, Texas, was the now epic and iconic SXSW16. Our former MFADers were treated to delicious sea food at La Perla on South Congress (SOCO). Joining co-chair Lita Talarico were Paige (Freeman) Hoover (08), Nick Acemoglu (09), Lauren Wolff (11), Camille McMorrow (12), Lydia Reynolds (11) and four-year-old daughter Veda (a future MFADer, who didn't want to leave). Also on hand was Samara Watkiss (Rome Workshop participant in 2011) and Laura DesEnfants, co-founder of DNA, producer of our Thesis Forum.
Steven Smith (09), Sylvia Villada (12) and Travis Cain (04) were at the conference but unable to attend -- sorry guys.
