Ada Tolla of Lot-Ek is the next speaker in the MFA Design lecture series on Oct 14 at 3 pm.

Together with Giuseppe Lignano, Tolla is the founder of Lot-Ek. Since 1993, the studio has been involved in residential, commercial and institutional projects in the United States and abroad, as shown by their designs and realizations for numerous cultural institutes and museums, among which the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum Of American Art and the Guggenheim.

The studio's design work has achieved widespread recognition for its innovative construction approach, use of materials and of space, the use of technology as an integral part of the architecture and for having addressed issues of mobility and transformability in architecture.
